Abu Mahmud Abdullah Barbhuiya serves as the Founder President of the Siloti Archive, Research & Cultural Centre (SARCC), where his visionary leadership has established the organisationinto a leading institution dedicated to preserving and promoting Sylheti heritage and culture. Under his direction, SARCC has become a vital hub for research, cultural documentation, and community engagement. Barbhuiya earned his Master’s degree from the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University in India, where he laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to scholarship, cultural preservation, and social development. As the founding president, Barbhuiya has demonstrated exceptional commitment to cultural preservation and community development. His leadership philosophy emphasises bridging traditional Sylheti culture with contemporary academic research, creating a dynamic platform that supports both scholarly pursuits and grassroots cultural initiatives.
