Sue Elizabeth Leschen is a highly experienced lawyer-linguist with over 22 years of expertise in legal and business interpreting. She holds an LLB and a BA in Social Studies and is the director of Avocate Legal and Business French Interpreting and Translation Services Ltd. A Chartered Linguist (Interpreter), she is a Fellow of CIOL and ITI, a registrant of NRPSI, and an active member of numerous professional organisations, including the CIOL Interpreting Division Steering Group Committee and the CIOL Professional Conduct Committee. With a deep commitment to professional ethics and standards, she is also part of the NRCPD Professional Conduct team.

At the LC Conference and IMLD Celebration 2025, Sue Elizabeth Leschen will speak on Need-to-Knows for Aspiring Interpreters: Generalising, Specialising and Diversifying, and Work/Lifestyle Balance.
