Ginta is a Director and full member of the Association of Interpreters and Translators (AIT), a leading professional body dedicated to supporting and representing interpreters and translators in the UK. She is a registered public service interpreter with the NRPSI and holds a DPSI in Law from the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL). With a background in language services and professional advocacy, she actively contributes to AIT’s mission of promoting best practices and professional development within the industry.

The presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of AIT, outlining its history, mission, and the value it offers to members. It will explore AIT’s role as a key professional body, highlighting the wide range of services it provides, from ongoing professional development to networking opportunities that support interpreters’ and translators’ careers.
