Dev Aditya is a London-based AI expert and award-winning innovator, leading the development of OIAI, the first digital human AI teacher, with a mission to upskill 750 million learners by 2030. His AI-driven educational solutions operate in 13 countries, supporting universities, corporations, and marginalised communities. He has also developed OIMISA-7B, a specialist teaching LLM, and conducted AI and HCI research with The Alan Turing Institute and Brunel University London. Recognised by Innovate UK and awarded by the UK Prime Minister, he is a Young Global Innovator and Under 30 Social Entrepreneur.
At the LC Conference & IMLD Celebration 2025, Dev will present “Preserving Native Languages in AI through Mixed Dialogue and Communication.” He will share his pioneering work on developing small language models (SLMs) for preserving Native American languages and culture. The project involves community engagement, AI-driven language processing, and verification by native speakers, forming a circular approach to language preservation. His talk will provide insights into the early-stage design of this innovative project and its potential impact.
